| Introduction | My interests lie in algebraic topology, differential geometry, and, most relevantly to my job at NAG, optimization, differential equations and special functions. My most significant additions to the Libraries at NAG have been the MCS global optimization software of Huyer and Neumaier (Vienna), Legendre elliptic integrals, upgades to zero-finders and new BLAS Technical Forum routines. I coordinate NAG's 'overnight build' continuous testing regime, where Libraries are automatically built on a variety of UNIX and Windows platforms each night, and another ongoing job is maintenance of NAG's Engine of algorithmic content. This is primarily done using the front-end to the NAG compiler and in-house tools developed in python. |
