Introduction I would like not to be another inactive cliche by saying ~ I have a strong interest in wanting to help those in need, write the great American Novel, wear the RED t-shirt and bead pin for statement not show. I love traveling as much as possible, drinking coffee or wine while people watching, photographing all sides of life, film, making love not war because there's got to be another answer in this era even though certain victories in history say otherwise. I run most often in central park, as I did along the Arno, the Pacific coast, and over bridges on the Seine. Working on an editorial staff gives me a natural high. Try "looking at everything as though you were seeing it either for the first or last time." I strive to be a humanitarian and a hell-raiser; enjoying when I can, and enduring when I must. Then there's waking up to sunrise on the beach, the wispy wave sound inside seashells, gin & tonics on the porch in Barrington, Rhode Island, reaching the top of a mountain after a breathless climb, being in the middle of a good book, particularly those by Coetzee or Hemingway, or Arundhati Roy. The idea of reincarnation, Belgian pancakes with Vincent. . .

If you had one day left to live, how would you spend it?
