| Introduction | 2009: I am currently a PHD candidate at UCLA in the department of urban Planning. I created the Blog MentalAvalanche to share a life-changing journey I took across Brazil. What I learnt and share with readers on my BrazilTrip led me to do a Masters in Local Economic Development at LSE, and after a second trip to Brazil, a PHD in Urban Planning. I consider myself as having embarked on a life-long journey of building a picture of reality and visualizing alternatives of 'another world'.
