| Introduction | I am a retired mother of 4 great children, all unique in their own way. I love the Lord with all my heart and love my family and doing things with and for them. I work with the Angel Food Ministry and head up the Food Pantry at our church. I am originally from Harvey, Illinois, a town in Northern Illinois in the So suburbs of Chicago. I moved to Florida about a year ago and love it here. I live in the woods at a State Park and really enjoy the wildlife and quiet. I love the beauty of the natural surroundings here. My favorite place when not at home is at the beach. I think it is so awesome to just walk the beach and listen to and watch the waves and know how vast God's creation really is. I also enjoy playing in the waves with my family and collecting and seeing so many different kinds of shells. I like the Gulf coast the best of all but also enjoy the East Coast beaches. I love to cook and try new things for my family and friends and over the last 50 years have done a lot of experimenting. Many times I have been told I needed to write a cookbook but was never interested. This Blogging is a new way and good way for me to share some of the things with everyone. |
