Introduction	Hellooo Everyone! I decided to do this to keep everyone in touch with my whereabouts and do-abouts this summer in DC! As most of you may know, I am interning at an organization called The Institute for Policy Studies, more specifically with a branched called "Break the Chain Campaign" which advocates against forced labor in the US. BTCC provides assistance to victims of human trafficking and modern day slavery within their cases (finding lawyers, following cases, ect.) and outside of their cases (providing basic needs for clients such as shelter, food, health care, ect.). Outside of that, (cool, huh?) I will hopefully be working a side job to carry in a bit of extra income, traveling a lot, having visitors (everyone's invited!), and just enjoying DC for the first time. Hope you enjoy my small journal. I probably will not be updating religiously, but here and there when I have a free minute. Enjoy! Sarah
