| Introduction | Debbie began painting a few years ago when she took her first watercolor class in South Pasadena. Now, an advanced art student having studied with renowned Pasadena artist, Eva Margueriette, Debbie’s focus is to capture the nuance of color and harmony on canvas. She enjoys painting portraits, especially the people of Haiti - a volunteer passion - as well as the charismatic scenery in Pasadena, Carmel and Sedona, Az. Debbie is an Associate Artist with the California Art Club and a member of the San Gabriel Valley Fine Arts Association. In October2009, she won first place in the Seascape/Marine genre in the San Gabriel Fine Art Association Fall Show for her oil painting entitled “Spanish Bay”. Her work has been presented at the San Gabriel Fine Art Association, the Alhambra City Hall Art Show and at Holy Family Church. |
