Introduction I’m a 30-year-old Australian who moved to Paris in 2006 after countless visits to the famed and fabled City of Lights. Originally I came to Paris to fulfil a life-long yearning to be able to call myself a Parisian ‘local’ (the sometimes twice-yearly plane fares were decidedly not a sustainable option), but ultimately, I stayed for love (cheesy, I know). My background is as an art historian, arts writer and curator. I justified an otherwise completely unjustifiable penchant for frequenting Europe by completing a Masters of Museum Curatorship. I’m also suffering from what the French call gourmandise, a sentiment inadequately translated in English as “gluttony”. I love Paris and I love this Zoomorama technology, so I thought I'd combine the two and put together this blog. Alors, what a girl to do but swallow du fromage along with her national pride, wash it down with a nice St Emilion and sink her teeth into the French experience?
