| Introduction | To pay the bills I work full time in financial services (not the most exciting of industries!) but in my spare time I love to bake. I guess it's a creative outlet and my husband certainly likes to taste the proceeds! I've been baking since I was a youngster and my parents would often come home to my latest batch of muffins or cupcakes. It's something that I've continued to enjoy and expand my knowledge on. I'm often trying or adapting new recipes and sharing the creations with friends & family. You'll see from my entries that sugar craft is also a pursuit of mine. My mother always made my brother and I amazing birthday cakes as children so I guess it's something I've learnt from her. I've also taken evening classes to develop my skills and learn new techniques. I thrive on the challenge of designing and producing a cake for all sorts of weird and wonderful themes.
