Qui suis-je ?

Introduction I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am in the process of divorcing a sex addict. I am the mother of two young girls. A lot of the time, I feel lost and at a loss for what to do. But no matter what I experience, eventually I feel the love of the Lord, often through the love of my friends, and this love makes me feel victorious. In ancient Greek and Roman culture, victors were adorned with wreaths made of leaves from Laurus nobilis---the bay laurel. Because my story of victory is not yet over, I have adopted the laurel leaf, rather than the laurel wreath, as my symbol. I own two laurel leaf necklaces; one a laurel leaf covered in silver, the other a laurel leaf covered in gold. I wear them regularly to reminder myself of who I am, a beloved daughter of God, and as a way to identify myself to wopas reading this blog who may be on the look out for an understanding friend.
