Introduction	My life as a homeschool mom combines all my favorite interests: reading, writing, baking, tea parties, Catholic saints, Jane Austen movies -- and with a unit-study approach, I can neatly combine them all for credit. Hockey and volleyball count as PE, which are balanced out by piano, violin, and orchestra rehearsals. After I graduated from K-State in journalism and human ecology, I finished a masters degree in International Relations at the London School of Economics. The Internet helps me keep an eye on the UN and developments worldwide. I am still happily married to my college sweetheart! And when he's out of town through the week, I fly solo with the home-based crew of a literature-crazed teenage daughter, a silent-type Scout, and energetic twin boys. My religion is "Devout Catholic." My politics are "Active Republican." My motto is "Two Things at a Time." This is the best place to keep up with the Schmidling Schedule.
