Introduction	I live in a small apartment near beautiful Central Park. Over past decades, I have greatly enjoyed traveling through the British countryside. After almost fourteen years of working in the retail fashion business, I have recently retired. This was a big decision, and I'm now enjoying expanded opportunities to pursue my varied interests.
Interests	Creating and looking at art, walking, reading, getting together with friends, cooking and eating, knitting and needlepoint, traveling.
Favorite Movies	The Maltese Falcon, The Manchurian Candidate, My Man Godfrey, Sleeper, Chinatown, Red, White, Blue, Circle of Deceit, Before the Rain, Singing in the Rain, High Hopes, Pandora's Box, lots more.
Favorite Music	Chopin, Brazilian samba and bossa nova, old blues, reggae, Kinks, Richard Thompson, Roxy Music, Talking Heads, David Bowie, and on and on and on and on.
Favorite Books	Authors including Virginia Woolf, Collette, Ian Rankin, Margaret Drabble, D.H Lawrence, Michael Ondaatje, and hundreds more
