About me

Location Albany, NY
Introduction Since 2001 I have served as Executive Director of NELLCO, a consortium of law libraries founded in 1983. During my tenure, NELLCO has grown from a regional concern with 25 member libraries, to an international consortium of more than 105 libraries in 5 countries. Prior to joining NELLCO I served as International Law Librarian at Yale Law School, my alma mater (YLS '97). I did my undergraduate work in Philosophy and Women's Studies at the University of South Florida (USF '94). I am also a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where I was trained and served as an electrician's mate. I have been very active with the American Association of Law Libraries, having served as both treasurer and chair of the Foreign, Comparative and International Law Special Interest Section (FCIL-SIS), Member and chair of the Committee on Relations with Information Vendors (CRIV) and CRIV Sheet editor, and as a member of the Copyright Committee. I'm married to Bill, and we have 5 exceptional and talented kids between us: Billy, Erin, Sam, Zane and Hayden. Only Zane and Hayden are at home. We also have two dogs: Ollie is a standard poodle and Jif is a bichon.
