| Introduction | I grew up in a small town in California's Central Valley. However, I spent vacations and holidays in the San Francisco Bay Area, and Southern California. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in political science and fine arts. I got an elementary teaching credential from San Francisco State University and taught kindergarten. In 1983 I became an adult English As A Second Language teacher. I recently retired and plan to do all the things that I haven't had time to do. My plans are to learn to write non-fiction articiles, do watercolors, and develop my photographic skills. I also plan to figure out what I want to do when I grow up. An encore career is a possibility. I just have to explore my new way of life to discover what I want it to be. |
