| Introduction | My working life has seen me scraping a pittance in a comic store, assessing insurance claims, testing, designing and producing videogames and teaching. Alongside all of these things I've taken an increasingly less casual interest in traditional music. For the past couple of years I was editor of Stirrings, Sheffield's Folk and Traditional music magazine. I've written for various publications on a variety of subjects and currently perform with groups including Crucible, Hekety, Glorystrokes and Grinders' Misfortune Society as well as occasional solo work. |
