| Introduction | Born in Malta in 1968. Studied Maltese and Italian Language and Literature (B.A. Gen.), and specialized in Italian (B.A. Hons; Masters) and in Italian Pedagogy (P.G.C.E.), at the University of Malta. Spent two years in Florence where he continued his studies in Italian Literature at the Università degli Study di Firenze. A high-school teacher of Maltese and Italian literature and language since 1992. Author of various books: poetry, children’s stories, literary criticism, language workbooks. Founder and editor of online quarterly literary magazine IL-PONT. Currently reading for a PhD in Contemporary Italian Literature focusing on the works of Elena Ferrante. Married and father of three children. |
