| Introduction | An old burying ground can be a fascinating place to ponder the mysteries and stories of history. Secluded, quiet, and unassuming, the preservation of these hallowed sites is vital to our ties to the past. Historic Mead Burying Grounds, Inc., was founded in 2023 to preserve, protect and maintain three small Mead family burying grounds in Greenwich, Connecticut. It replaced the former Historic Mead Family Burying Grounds Association, Inc., founded in 1990. Historic Mead Burying Grounds, Inc., also records and publishes historical records of these and other burial sites of family ancestors. |
