Introduction | At age 55, I am amazed and grateful to have done the following: been in the company of truly loving & fascinating people more than 20,379 days in a row, been trusted through the lifetimes of ten dogs, shared the childhood and adolescence of four of the world's most remarkable & kind-hearted sons with the dearest person I've ever known (my husband, Christopher Puca), been called someone's best friend, helped a lonely woman give birth to a baby, taught more than 925 children to read, slid down a Jamaican waterfall, laughed till I wet my pants, cried till I had no more tears, learned to ski down a mountain in the Alps (even though I never got that volleyball over the net), voted in every American Presidential race for the past 37 years, been able to say I was wrong, I'm sorry, and I love you with a completely sincere heart, read any book that interested me and I have been part of a miracle. |

With wild abandon!
