| Introduction | I am a homeschooling mom who enjoys spending the day with my 9 1/2 yr. old son. We have our moments but we truly enjoy each others company. I am soaking it up now in case that changes on his part as he get's older :) I married my best friend 11 yrs ago. The past year has held many challenges for us but through it all we are now closer together as a couple and a family. My husband went to work one day to find himself laid off. No notice ~ The whole division closed. We found ourselves having to let go of everything we had sacrifised and worked so hard for. Sold our wonderful home and started a new phase in life. We now feel like we are starting all over again. We know that God loves us and has a wonderful plan for us. He has taken care of us this far and will continue to do so. I have seen God's hand on all of this even though to the world we look like we went from having a "perfect" life to having nothing. I have lost my pride but gained so much more ! We are now being blessed with things money could have never bought us. While there are some days I am discouraged (by all that has happened to us). Most days I am just super excited to see all that God has planned for our future. |

| Favorite books | I love to read ! If I have a spare moment I am often found with my nose in a book :) I love The Notebook by Nicolas Sparks. ( any book by Nicolas Sparks will suit me ) I also love reading books to help me grow in my faith. Elizabeth George encourages me like no other. |
