Introduction	Bullshit, Preppy refers to the the eternally classic film "Love Story," starring Ali MacGraw and Ryan ONeal. The astounding number of young women who have not seen this classic should set their Sex and the City re-run on pause and come over to watch it. I have often been told I have an essence of Ms. MacGraw in her role of Jennifer Cavilleri. It must be her quick comebacks, need for success, and stylish sensibility that are the most similar qualities. I mean, I'm guessing... She also maintains an immense sense of self while still falling deeply in love with Oliver-- a quality too many women seem to sacrifice when in a relationship. And although they come from opposite socio-economic backgrounds, together they make a perfect couple while they make their own, new story. This film is iconic for its theme song that appears at every ice skating competition, and its sincerity in the storytelling. It may not be totally believable to everyone, but isn't that like every great romance? Jennifer calls Oliver "Preppy" as a playful nickname, and she often calls him out on his bullshit. Literally. Welcome to my love story.
