| Introduction | Hey! I'm an Alaskan Gonzaga history major who's blooming into a globetrotter with two blogs: one for a high school exchange program in Belgium 2010-11(www.alaskainbelgium.blogspot.com), one for wanderings between Italy and Chile 2013(www.godsleftoversvtov.blogspot.com). Hope you enjoy the adventures with me! Here's the lowdown on my more recent blog: This blog documents my studies/adventures in Rome, Italy and in Valparaiso, Chile. Expect to hear about art, history, culture, and God; I love and explore all of these. I’m following my favorite professor and Jesuit through his old haunts in Rome during a 5 week summer session on art history and history to help my major as well as a Catholic Studies minor (shh, I don’t think people realize I’m technically Presbyterian). After these classes finish up, I have the privilege of ogling more great art with my little sister and my father in Europe and visiting old friends in Belgium before shipping out to Valparaíso, where I study at Pontifical Católica Universidad de Valparaiso. I only have 102 level Spanish and no Italian, so I hope my little brain does some exploding along the way! |
