| Introduction | So why am I here, showing up among the 172,000 or so other bloggers? As Inigo says, "Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up". I am über passionate about anything that piqués my interest. My daily goal has been to find congruency between my vision of life and how I spent the day I've just completed. It's a roller coaster for sure. You've seen those tall stately grandfather clocks right? Imagine the pendulum occasionally gets a little sprung and swings out farther than its supposed to. Maybe even so hard that it breaks the glass on one side or the other. That's Bipolar Disorder. Ninety eight percent of the people who know me have no idea because I know how to keep it under the radar (for the most part). Yet, I know I'm not alone. There are others of you like me who clinians call "high functioning" (meaning held a job, gone to school, stayed out of jail etc.) out there who have moods and emotions that swing past the boundardies of the "normal" spectrum . You are not alone either. I'm creating this blog to open a space for compassionate sharing. If I've learned something that has helped me swing back towards balance, maybe it can help you too. |

Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
I usually do not like things touching my neck, unless iit is ridiculously cold. In which case it is more likely that I will have a scarf wrapped around my middle to warm my extra long torso rather than my neck.
