| Introduction | Joan and I live at The Sea Ranch, a 1960s Community Interest Development designed by landscape architect Larry Halprin. The Sea Ranch prizes "living lightly with the land." The Sea Ranch is in the northwest corner of Sonoma County, on the coast three hours from San Francisco. I served on The Sea Ranch Association's Board until Memorial Day, 2010 We are active in Shepherd by the Sea Episcopal/Lutheran Mission in neighboring Gualala. In the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California, I served on the Standing Committee and the Communication Committee, and have been a member of the Celebrating Creation Network. On November 8, 2013, I was elected a Lay Deputy from the Diocese of Northern California to the Episcopal Church's 2015 General Convention. We live in the beauty of coastal Northern California by the Gualala River. For about 10 years, I have been Secretary of Friends of the Gualala River (FoGR). |
