Introduction	GIS Hort Society's mission is to provide information to the global audience via the methods below: Online “Discussions” on current topics will provide an interactive component for members who cannot attend GIS Society Horticulture meetings or events. A weekly segment of Online Photos titled “What’s New In The Garden” will be posted to help those interested learn about plants and practices for use in their own gardens. There will be short informational pieces Online under “Garden Guidance” on horticultural practices, products and plants as well as reviews. Online “Links” to other sites and sources of information that the Society determines useful to the membership will be provided. The Society will create and provide Online short instructional “videos” on horticulture related topics.
