About me

Introduction Ephraim Loy was educated at St. Andrew's Junior and St. Andrew's Secondary School. He graduated with a Diploma in Mechatronics from Singapore Polytechnic in 2002 and obtained his Advanced Diploma in Mass Communications from Management Development Institute of Singapore. Graduating with a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Political Science and Corporate Communication from Singapore Management University in 2009, he started his career at the Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee and is presently with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth. Ephraim's interest in writing was sparked from his stint with the Singapore Polytechnic newspaper, fullStoP, during his polytechnic days. He has written for The Straits Times YouthINK, freesheet TODAY as well magazines including Playworks, Eat! and Teenage. He was one of the contributors for the book People at the Peak (3rd Edition) and has also written for online sites such as Youth.SG and omy.sg. He was the founding Editor-in-Chief of The Blue and Gold, a publication by the Singapore Management University Students' Association.
