| Introduction | I I love anything artsy and I love to redo old things from furniture to jewelry. I have pretty much repainted and glazed every piece of furniture and knickknack in my whole house & salon. I've been fascinated with Jewelry since I was a little girl. I absolutely LOVE vintage jewelry! Especially art deco jewelry from the 30's & 40s! I also like 50's, 60's & 70's. Vintage jewelry is usually so much more detailed than most jewelry made now. I have so much fun taking old, sometimes broken vintage jewelry and using it to recreate new pieces. I am a hairdresser and have owned a salon for 22 years. My Etsy store name comes from me having red hair and the last name of Eggertz.. Hence the name "Red Egg Boutique" :) I am a Big Time animal lover! I have a mellow cute old black lab named Jez, a high strung naughty French Bulldog named Izzy, a big fat tabby cat named Enrique and a sweet black tortoise calico named pumpkin( She arrived on my doorstep around Halloween.) Tiny and pregnant. We found her 5 kittens loving homes. I tend to bring home lots of homeless, especially cats :) my two kitties found me :) |
