|Introduction||Jim McNabb is an Austin, Texas journalist and communicator. He's a member of the adjunct faculty of St. Edward's University teaching public speaking. He's seen TV news go from black and white film to digital; radio news go from vitality to virtually disappearing; Austin go from two daily newspapers to one; And, he's seen all create web sites. Now come blogs and other alternative media. No one in media particularly likes analysis or criticism, but that's what all media needs. Through the lenses of experience and academe, Jim McNabb sees, analyzes, and communicates. Thus, the blog, "News McNabb." Jim McNabb helped shape the news in Austin, Texas for decades. He has been a TV news manager, talent, reporter, and photographer as well as a radio news director twice. He is a frequent contributor to austinpost.org. He holds a BA from Baylor and an MA from UT. He's also an ordained and licensed chaplain to communicators. Further, he's a singer/songwriter with seven albums.|
