| Introduction | I'm a semi-crunchy at-home mom to a 25-month-old boy & partner to Tommy. I'm also a medical transcription student with MTEC with hopes of finishing by March 2010. I love learning more about self-sustainability & becoming more fiscally & environmentally minded each day. I'm a believer in attachment parenting philosophy & embrace certain aspects that fit our family...breastfeed, babywear, would love to homeschool, co-sleep, & practice natural health as best I can. |
| Interests | I have a lot of hobbies & interests that keep me busy (along with a very active baby & online school & Tommy!) My newest hobby blogging & learning more about self-sustainability. Some of my favorite things are beach days, day tripping & exploring new places with Tommy, hiking, watching the sun rise & set from my front & back yard, bbq’s, star-gazing, picnicking, collecting seashells, and of course, collecting sunglasses & flip flops; can’t have too many of those now! I love a great waterfall, perfect chocolate milkshake, the sound of the ocean, the feel of sand on my feet, or watching hot air balloons in the sky; palm trees, fresh squeezed lemonade, butterflies, ferry rides, wearing flip flops year-round, B&W photos, sweet tea, cupcakes, lighthouses…just to name a few! And the perfect ending to a perfect day is with a fresh strawberry colado and yummy sushi!! Nothing invokes a bit of nostalgia as the smell of fresh cut grass, campfires, the ocean breeze, lake air, hiking in the woods… Life is good when you take the moments to cherish it! Dislikes: shopping...crowds...condenscending people...stuck ups...snobs & yuppies who think they're all that...socks with holes...public bathrooms...shallow fake people...rap music...oysters...and lastly, COLD WEATHER!! |

If I'm wearing a sweater to my feet, I doubt the color of the belt is going to make it look any bit better.
