Introduction	I'm an ecologist by training, a Devon smallholder, a conservationist, a science editor and communicator, an ex coral reef researcher, and a mum. With my husband I own Wheatland Farm, a small Devon farm just outside Winkleigh where we have 3 self catering eco lodges and a holiday cottage. We manage the farm, including its culm grassland Site of Special Scientific Interest, for wildlife. But it's the guests in our self catering accommodation who make that possible. Their stay with us makes this little patch of Devon wildlife a going concern. Thank you to them all!
