| Introduction | I began sewing when I was 8 years old. My mother gave up her machine so I could sew on it as I got along with the machine better than she did. When I began sewing mom's wardrobe, she would tell all and sundry that her garments were "madame made", hence the name of this blog. There has never really ever been a time when I have not sewn, just lulls of weeks or months here and there. |
