About me

Introduction	I have been a nurse for 19 years and earned my BSN from Carlow College in Pittsburgh, PA and my MSN in Nursing Education from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS where I am currently completing coursework for an Online Teaching Certificate. My clinical background is in acute care with telemetry and step-down patient populations. My education journey began in staff development and I am currently working as faculty in a baccalaureate completion program at a private, Christian university. Caring for patients through teaching nurses is a rewarding way to serve in the nursing profession. It is a great blessing to be able to do this work. I find great joy in spending time with my husband, our two young children, and our dog.
