| Introduction | The Cineaste (BA in English: Film & Media Studies, George Mason University) is an avid moviegoer and has taken multiple workshops on screenwriting and film production. He has also researched topics related to film violence and portrayals of masculinity in cinema. The Cineaste has a close network of associates within the film business (producers, directors, actors & writers) who continually educate him on the process of filmmaking. He is currently a graduate student (MA in English) at George Mason University and a research assistant for a nonprofit publication in northern Virginia. He hopes his blog will promote conversations about film and increase everyone’s love and respect for movies. |
