Introduction	The Poetry Scrap Yard is part prompt, part revision, and a whole lot of restoration. Poets can send us their poetry "scraps," lines or stanzas or whole poems they have discarded because they can't get any further with them, but aren't happy with them to keep revising for publication. Some people might call them cast-offs, or garbage poems. We call them Scraps.We'll post scraps here, giving credit to the original author if that is desired. Sometimes authors don't want their names attached to their junk, so we can be anonymous as needed. Poets and writers can visit, take pieces and parts, and write their own works. We ask that they come back and share their "restoration" in the comments section. Of course, since posting work online sometimes counts as "publication," please post just a little of your restoration. And come back and tell us where the whole poem gets published, so we can all cheer for the Scraps being resurrected!
