Einführung	I am an active mother of 4 happy healthy kids ranging from 23 to 3 years old and grandma to one perfect baby boy. Mr. K is my loving better half. He is loving and never seems to tire of my ideas and antics. I love interior decorating on the cheap. I love thrift stores, auctions and flea markets, they make my heart go pitter patter. I often make my dad (a retired carpenter) make furniture out of discarded items, reclaimed wood and anything else I can come up with. Most items in my house were not purchased new. I set about blogging to share my thoughts, ideas and love of decorating with like-minded folks. I love to read other ideas and recreate catalog looks for a fraction of the cost. I'm also a lover of photography who currently lacks the skills to capture great quality pictures, but I'm learning and hoping to learn more.
