Lieblingsfilme	it's hard to make a list because I'm so afraid I'll miss a really important one, but here are my current all-time top five: Casablanca, The Lion in Winter, The African Queen, My Favorite Year, The Godfather. And in its own special category: Plan 9 from Outer Space.
Lieblingsmusik	The Beatles, Motown, folk music, Mozart, Brahms, Beat Sharkey, Mary Pendergast, the first 50 years of the 20th century--our modern classical period. The CD's I currently can't stop playing: Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Cole Porter Songbook, and Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Gershwin Songbook.
Lieblingsbücher	This is impossible. But here are a few: Jane Austen, Dorothy Dunnett, Shakespeare, Reginald Hill and all those wonderful mystery writers. Love biographies, too; especially "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt" by Edmund Morris.
