| Introduction | I was born in Saskatchewan and have always been a tomboy. I loved to help my dad in the yard and around the shop and learned to drive pretty well anything with wheels or tracks over the years. I raced snowmobiles in my teens and have a motorcycle license and a Class 3 with airbrake endorsement. I wanted to share my pictures and experiences from Crosby ND's Threshing Bee so my daughter in law, Lindsay, helped me get started on this blog. I'm learning as I go along and I'm really enjoying working on it. |

| Favorite movies | Terminator and Die Hard series, Day After Tomorrow, Independence Day, Men in Black, Bad Boys. I think Will Smith has done a LOT of good movies. He's great paired with Martin Lawrence. Martin was really funny in Blue Streak and Nothing to Lose. Overboard with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell was also a classic and I really liked Somewhere in Time with Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve. For TV shows, right now my favourite is Supernatural and in second place is Fringe. |
| Favorite music | I like Jimmy Buffet songs because they are so TROPICAL. I love to see a palm tree, then I know I’m on holidays!! Jimmy's songs make me think of palm trees. I listen mainly to country but I really enjoy any kind of music even some rap songs. I sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow to my granddaughter. |
| Favorite books | I think the children’s book, Pollyanna, is a classic. It was written in 1913 by Eleanor H. Porter and the glad game – always finding something to be glad about – has stuck with me. Some of my favourite authors are Robert Jordan - Wheel of Time series, Stephen King - Dark Tower series, Tad Williams - Memory, Sorrow and Thorn series, Dean Koontz, Nelson DeMille |
