| Introduction | Author of Tropical Flowering Plants and web host of my own site TropicalFloweringPlants.com . I greatly enjoy writing and communicating with a wide variety of friends with mutual interests. This blog derived because people ask how I lost the weight when they see how different I look now from the author picture on the jacket of the first printing of my book. I had lost most of the weight by the second printing - Thank Goodness! My book received The American Horticultural Society Award, The Garden Globe Award for photography and the Larry Schokman Award. For the past 2 years I have started ballroom dancing as my primary exercise. There is no other exercise that appeals to me as much It provides exercise, balance and keeps the mind active in a socially enjoyable and refreshing atmosphere. Ballroom dance is suitable at any age and keeps the body and mind young. |
