| Introduction | Amethyst Eyes is my first published book. In my blog I hope to share my discoveries, feelings (and occasional frustrations) as I journey through the uncharted world of writing and publishing (uncharted for me). I am a graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature and presently following an advanced writing course for graduates. I have 2 more books in the making- one for the course, and one that will tell the story of Tommy's parents. (Tommy is the main character in Amethyst Eyes). Since I am new to the world of publishing, I can honestly say that my first impression is that writing the book was the easy part. I managed to write Amethyst Eyes while caring for my two-year-old and grieving the loss of my baby. So, if you’re interested, welcome aboard! |
