Introduction	I am currently studying my Masters in Social work Studies with the intention upon graduating this year to further study in Dance Therapy. I was born and bred in Cairns. Living in Brisbane, I often yearn for the surrounding mountains, the salt water beaches, my fathers adoring eyes and my little sisters many questions about the meaning to life. But lately coming back there are situations in Cairns that are raising some concerns with me. One is within a community that I associated with while growing up. The community living among a community housing area in the suburb of Mooroobool. Although many great interventions have taken place in the area and there has been tremendous improvements within the community, tensions have been reported in recent times. I created this blog in the attempt to explore these issues further and to find positive solutions for my friends and family to have a healthy, happy life in the vibrant town of Cairns.
