Introduction Anyone have trouble with this one? Just asking. Okay, I gotta get on with it. The easy stuff: I have my own business and work from home - this is good and bad. I can travel anywhere at any time which is good, great in fact. I don't have anyone telling me anything about when to work, how to work, what to work on. For someone with a touch of ADD this is bad. Everything in life is a tradeoff. Today I am thinking the trade is pretty good. So here I am in ATL (Vinings to be exact) thankful that I live near a grocery store b/c I love grocery shopping - odd, I know. Near Borders (LOVE THAT PLACE!) & a movie theater although I never go b/c most movies are really lame but it's nice to know that I can go at the very last minute which is when I decide to do most things. Close to a great trail by a river that I can run on and think about how God loves me so darn much when I am such a wayward, faithless woman. Lastly, I hope to have a family one day but more than that I hope I will learn to live these words by Jim Elliot "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose." I am a fool most days but I cling to the maxim....progress not perfection. Hope you do too!
Interests Reading; writing/journaling; FOOD!, great coffee, exercise to rest my weary mind and work off my latest love - Cold Stone. If you have never been do not go. Stay far, far away. Anyway, I adore people who say what they mean and mean what they say (I am working on being one of those people - it's hard if you really think about it), travel, spending time alone with Christ, my deepest love. Spending time with Him is the ONLY thing that changes me for more than 5 minutes. Whoever said you can't teach an old dog new tricks didn't know Jesus. And people - I just love them even when they aren't very lovable. I like to dive deep with people - a close friend likens me to a submarine. Hopefully minus all the alarm signals that go off when submerging. Not sure.
