| Introduction | My name is Kisha L. Floyd. I'm 31 years old and a mother of two (Jayden, 6 & Jacari, 2). I'm a teacher and have been working within the field of education for 7 years. I currently teach Pre-K students ages 3-5. I'm very passionate about impacting and making a difference in the lives of children and families. I'm also an aspiring entrepreneur. Currently, I'm establishing a non-for-profit organization whose mission is supporting children and families through literacy and the arts. I'm also starting a small sitting service business that caters to single parents that will not only provide childcare services but will enhance their knowledge regarding their role as a parent and support the growth and development of their child. It is my hope and desire that through this blog that I will have a voice on a larger platform to reach out and speak on the importance of Early Childhood Education and setting a solid foundation as children begin their life-long journey of learning. |
