Introduction	As a woman in my 50s and after working in the same career for over 30 years, I began a new journey as student...again. At the university, I am among students and professors that are the same age as my daughter. Students are tech savvy, whereas I am still learning. Presentations are done electronically which is different from when I was last in school. Our presentations were on poster board or overhead projectors. Today’s students find vast amounts of information on the internet while at home writing their papers. I remember driving to the library, working hard to find books and journals, and sometimes finding an empty space on the bookshelf. Going back to school has was a tough and scary decision, but I took the leap. My hopes are that you will find something from my journey that encourages you to do something you have always wanted to do. Maybe you want to go to school or try something new. No matter what you decide, I wish you the best and encourage you to comment on this blog about your journey. Together, we can support others in their new endeavors.
