Introduction I am a corporate financier with a technology background. Graduated in 1989 from St. Andrews University and joined NatWest Markets in 1991 as a Corporate Financier. Left in 1994 to join the Dow Chemical the UK Treasury team. In 1996 left to become founder and MD of InMedia Investments (now called Orchestream) a QoS software start-up. Started Red Hot Chilli, a digital consultancy, in 1998 and grew it to a 100 person business with clients such as UBS Warburg, Foxtons and Savills Private Finance. In 2001 became part of the Oyster Partners management team responsible for Financial Services sector. In 2002 became a freelance consultant with clients such as Royal Mail, Parcelforce and Nestle (in conjunction with McCann Erickson). In 2004 left to start a Private Equity and Corporate Finance business focused on investment in West Africa and based in Sierra Leone called Bennu Capital.
