| Introduction | Disclaimer: Some of the pictures may be graphic We are a group of students exploring two ossuaries and attempting to uncover why they have gained so much attention from both the scholarly and public sphere. Using Sedlec and Talpiot tombs we take into consideration two distinctly different containments and display and show the versatility of ossuaries yet with none the less attraction. Death is on display through ossuaries and it intrigues us to find out why. |
