Introduction	I quit my life as a reporter in Whitehorse to move to Fairbanks and pursue dog mushing. Sound crazy? I've been called worse. Then, I married a tall man who had a tall child. Now, I’m done writing about dog antics, and will relay stories of life as a townie with an eight-year-old and three cats. Funny how things change, eh?
