Introduction	Coleridge once described himself as 'a library cormorant', and I love to imagine him diving down among the bookshelves coming up with all kinds of odd volumes. Sounds like paradise! This blog reflects my own interests and is a kind of literary serendipity - or cormorant's lunch, if you like! I read very widely, everything including serious literary fiction and non-fiction, young adult, chick-lit, frothy romantic fiction, poetry, crime/thrillers (a particular addiction), politics, eco-philosophy, travel etc etc though I'm not great on sci-fi or fantasy. Interests	I love reading, gardening, listening to music, eating, drinking, and travelling.
Favorite Music	I love opera, jazz, rock, folk, but hate techno.
Favorite Books	Too many to list! Important books for me have been Wide Sargasso Sea, Chaos Theory, The Journal of Katherine Mansfield, Animal Dreams, Alias Grace, I am Mary Dunne, The Gathering, The Bloody Chamber, The Dead and other stories, Star of the Sea.
