| Introduction | I am a new mom, wife and CPA. In that order. I know what the internet really needs is another mom blog, but this isn't my attempt to portray life as ideal. My daughter, Ella, is my world, but not in that 'everything is perfect as a mom' kind of way. More in the way that the imperfections are perfectly suited to me and fun to laugh at. You will find I often poke fun at marriage and motherhood, but it's finding the humor in another sleepless night or ANOTHER poopy diaper that keeps me sane. My family is about to embark on a big adventure. We're moving away from our family and friends in Austin, Texas to Jacksonville, Florida, where we don't know anyone. I hope to chronicle this adventure as well as the adventures of life. Such a beautiful life it is! |
