| Introduction | I am a philosopher and writer. I am also a mother and grandmother. Change begins with me. Our leaders will not and cannot save us. I've held at least 15 different jobs, lived in too many places to count, traveled abroad, and believe a nomad blood runs through my veins. I was born in the Illinois heartland.
