Introduction I don’t really know why I got obsessed with cooking and baking. All I can remember is that it started with sourdough bread a few years ago and continued on from there. There are several possible reasons for why the idea of learning how to produce food is slowly taking over my life. Perhaps am I driven by the need to find a contrast to my office job? Cooking can be a creative outlet and you always end-up with a tangible (and sometimes beautiful) output in a reasonable time frame. Is perhaps learning to cook Swedish food a way for me to get closer to my always missed home country? Perhaps does cooking Canadian and ethnic food help me connect with the cultures in my new country? Or is my key driver simply a desire to share a fun experience with others?

What I do know it that learning to cook and bake is adding value and fun to my life. This blog is about the added value and the method used to get there.
