|Introduction||Me? about me? I'm still growing up. Grew up in the war zone Americans call "Vietnam." Missionary parents. Moved to Thailand, Arkansas, Hawaii, Indonesia, Virginia, and Texas. 33 different addresses. Learning English, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Japanese, Chinese, Hebrew, Cherokee, Greek, Comanche, and español. High School diploma from Jakarta International School. BA Foreign Service Baylor U, MA Linguistics U of Texas at Arlington, PhD Rhetoric Texas Christian U. Recovering from "the church," "the patriarchy," and the Western "Academy." "How" is such a great question. How does anyone command love and get away with it?
