Introduction	Nova Scotian born-and-bred, have lived in England , Saskatchewan and New Brunswick, graduate of Oxford University and St Andrew's College Saskatoon, educator,writer, mentor, spiritual guide, animator, creative thinker, connector, questioner, seeker, still wanting to help make a more just, peaceful and compassionate world, I speak and read German and can read, and speak restaurant, French, Italian and a little Spanish- also read some Latin. I love words!
Interests	music, reading, writing, conversation, travel, visual art, theatre,politics, world religions, diverse spiritualities and , of course, cats.
Favorite movies	Sound of Music, Mr Holland's Opus, Chocolat, Babette's Feast, Four Weddings and a Funeral, The Best Exotic Marigold Cafe- to name a few.
Favorite music	Classical above all- but I also love folk music- raised on Pete Seeger, Joan Baez- a variety of sacred music, Beatles, live jazz etc.
Favorite books	too numerous to name- I read poetry, theology, history, science for non-scientists, philosophy, biography, art history, world religions and just about anything else I can get my hands on
